Super Mario 3D Land Citra is an open-source emulator for the Nintendo 3DS capable of playing many of your favorite games. GBA can be run natively on the 3DS because the 3DS has an ARM7 processor in the SoC. That's how GBA VC injects work in the first place, they're not emulators. There are also GB and GBC VC injects and I believe they are not using GBA backwards compatibility mode but rather they are emulating them. Game Boy Advance is an upgrade of the Game Boy Color version. The upgraded genre is capable of running advanced games. Also, it has powerful hardware and the quality of color is top-notch. There are several Game Boy Advance emulators available to download. We have covered the popular Lameboy Gameboy and Gameboy Color emulator for the Nintendo 3DS before, and we still think that it is a good little emulator, though it could use some serious updates. Today however we want to talk about a new emulator that lets you play Gameboy Color games on your Nintendo 3DS system.
There are two ways to play GBA games on 3DS. The first one is to play the games directly using mGBA emulator.
